Catalina issues

I was finally able to open the app in Catalina after allowing it under security, but the reverb app I use ORILRIVER cannot be opened because it's developer cannot be verified. Suggestions for reverb that's good that works with Catalina?

This very obviously is not a Bug of Reaper's (see the forum title: "Report and discuss bugs in REAPER (if any) in this forum.").

Maybe the most appropriate request is "Suggestions for an OS that's good that works with my audio software ?"

I would suggest rolling back to Mojave and wait a year until all the niggles with Catalina are sorted out by most if not all audio plugin vendors.

But if there's really truly a new feature in 10.15 that is more important than keeping that ORILRIVER plugin to you, you'll just have to work around it.

I'm behind on vetting 10.15 but I noticed the same blacklisting of machines as last time (10.14) with possibly a few more pro machines added. Not a good look...
