Presets getting pooled between plugins that start with the same word

It looks like Reaper is storing VST plugin presets based on the part of the dll name before the first period in the filename.

I have two plugins that both start with "Bridge." (ie: "Bridge.Plugin1.dll" and "Bridge.Plugin2.dll"). Presets for both end up in "presets/vst-Bridge.ini". It looks like Reaper is just splitting the filename on '.' and taking the first part as a unique name. If it explicitly removed the ".dll" instead, this problem would be resolved.
