Default storing lame.ll is refused?

newbie and having trouble storing the reference lame enc64 file for mp3 rendering. when i try and save it in the reaper file it says i doint have permission to save in this location.

im on windows 7, 64 bit.

also i can play the wav files in reaper media folder, but when i upload these same files to dropbox they are also unplayable. any tips? thanks

Check your wav bitrate...some players cant play 96khz 24 bit. Ensure you're rendering your wavs as 44khz 16 bit

Where are you trying to save Lame?

put the lame dll in the same folder as the Reaper.exe. Also wav files have nothing to do with lame. Maye it has something to do win 7 64 bit. Maybe install the 32 bit reaper.

Also...make sure you have the latest version of Lame.

http://lame.sourceforge.net/download.php

Shouldn't really make a difference but...always worth checking.
