Default Set metronome to 8th notes

Ok...I feel REALLY stupid, but I cannot figure out how to set the metrone to 8th notes instead of quarter notes.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
C

One thing to try is to change your time signature to be expressed in 8th notes, so for example:

4/4 => 8/8
6/4 => 12/8

etc.

I seem to remember trying this before and had some glitches with MIDI clips not staying exactly in sync but it may work for you.

It would be great if we could have a way of controlling the metronome beats, independent of the tempo/time sig.
