Does this sound right Reaper ??

Hey guys, basically I bought little studio equipment to get our some clear vocals for others to hear.

I'm currently using a Rode NT2A and a focusrite scarlett 2i2. And also using a audio program similar to pro tools called Reaper. I'm just trying to get the warm vocal sound to fit in with the beat so I laid out a little sample for you guys to hear and also to let me know on how I can get this sound I'm looking for. My voice just sounds neglected, it doesn't sound like its laid in the beat. Could anyone give me an idea on what I can do to improve this ?
