Default Bypasing Mater FX

I tend to apply all my mastering effects to the master bus but I have a track of sub drops and I feel like it's going to throw off any compression or clipping on the master and make things go to shit when it hits. Is there a way I can have the master effects apply to everything but exclude the track with the sub drops? Not sure if that is possible but would be nice to know if it is. Am I better of just mastering it, rendering it and adding the subs afterward? Thanks in advance!

Create a new track and label it Master Bus. Route all of your tracks except the sub drop to it and turn off their Master/Parent Send, and pretend that it's your master for doing your compression, limiting, etc.
