Default Enter and play chord symbols

Happy Holidays
Is there a vst that I can use to enter chord symbols and have them play? I used to use band in the box. That could work if I can find my 5 year old copy but I thought I should ask here first instead of wasting too much time searching/surfing. Thank You in advance...

That's one of the coolest features of Cubase. Would be nice to have something like that in Reaper.

Default Chord Playing VST

I have one called "ChordSpace" I don't know if thats what you,re looking for. Basically has a window with every chord and key that you could think of. Responds to midi and outputs midi to a VST Instrument. Very handy for us musically challenged( read tone deaf and stupid) I am only speaking for myself here.

Takes a while to figure out, but does what I need.

Default Thank you

Thank you, I'll check out chord space... It's frustrating at time not to have features that I had back in the 80s. Roger Powell wrote a terrific sequencer called "Texture" . It had a simple chord invert feature. By simply hitting tab, it would insert chord inversions. Xlnt for us keyboard challenged guitar players. How is it several "modern" Daws lack features we commonly had in "sequencer" programs from 20 years ago? "Master tracks", Roland "Mesa" old Cakewalk.. Greg Hendershott let me beta test. Maybe introducing digital audio made the simple sequencing terribly difficult??? The Atari had terrific sequencers... I know, I'm old.

I can't remember if it's in normal Reaper, or comes with the SWS extension, but there's an action for "invert selected chord up/down".
