Inserting multiple files from Media Explorer crashes Reaper

I found out this today:

- I select a bunch of stereo wav files in Media Explorer

- I drag them into arrangement OR right click and select Insert into project

- I can see the "building peaks" window starting its job but Reaper crashes immediately after.

This is repeatable and it happens only with multiple files; it works fine if I import only one file at a time.

Reaper version: 2.14159

Anybody having the same issue ?
