You never said what kind of monitor you are running, at first looks I would say:

A) A CRT monitor and it has burnt in (Jesus you must have reaper running almost 24/7!)

B) This is a manipulated image and your trying to see who bites for the hell of it

C) It's Darthfader

It doesn't really look like it, but if set low, people sometimes don't notice it until one day, they think their screen burnt in...
