I like it, at first I thought it was some Midge Ure/Ultravox thing with the synth sound. If you do a bit of work on the vocals that would sound like any other commercial song from the era, or even now. Very well done. Wish I could do something like that.
Some nice sounds there. Care to tell what that moving pad/solo thing is? Cute song. The lyrics works, even if a bit repetitive. Suits the music.
I think the bit you mean is a guitar!!! Believe it or not, going through a line 6 DL6 set to reverse envelope and mixed with a swamp load of delays!
All the synth sounds are Roland D-50 and Yamaha DX7 Mkii I think.

Think I need to work on my singing and vocal mix technique and record the vocals earlier in the process in case it's a little bit high, which this is.
