Bug when burning CDs: Lead-in silence has no effect
Hello guys,
I guess I found a bug in Reaper when burning CDs.
Reaper always inserts a lead-in silence of 2 seconds for each track. The duration value in milliseconds in the field "Lead-in silence for tracks" in the "Render to File" settings (see screenshot) has no effect.
I burned two CDs of a project having multiple markers using lead-in silence
1. 2000 ms and
2. 0 ms
Both Audio CD Image projects (CUE/BIN format) have the same duration. I would expect that the first project with lead-in silence 2000 ms has a longer playing time.
Is there a workaround?
Best regards,
Dirk
EDIT: Solved by following workaround: The pauses of 2s between the tracks only occur on the burned CD when "Burn CD image after render" in "Render to File" settings is activated and the CD is burned by Reaper. It's working properly (and the field "Lead-in silence for tracks" has effect) when burning the CD Image project created by Reaper with external software (e. g. CDBurnerXP).
