Within the physical limits of laptop speakers, I heard the bass just fine on my Samsung Chronos laptop.

But yeah, laptop speakers are not the ideal amplification system for bass instruments. If you are primarily focused on making music for laptop speakers, bass is probably not the best instrument to use.

PS-- your hosting site kinda sucks. For more and better responses, please use direct links to the audio file.

Cheers.

just a related note... Mp3 encoding defaults to joint stereo where the lower bass is mixed to mono. Hardly anybody takes the effort to disable this "feature" before encoding. It also applies to Mp3 streams like on SoundCloud. Luckily, the download of the original wont have that unless it was intentionally mixed that way. The problem with joint stereo is that any non-perfect phase audio of the bass gets cancelled out except for the pure mono component. This can make the bass weaker in both amplitude and spread. Use FLAC and you won't have that problem in your downloads and it has other advantages. Or just use an Mp3 encoder in stereo or dual mono mode.
