Default POD Farm crashing REAPER??

Hey guys,

I open REAPER, add a new track, load POD Farm VST (which I have been using for two years almost flawlessly in REAPER) and then close the FX Chain window and the program crashes, everytime. I have updated all Line 6 drivers and I even came and downloaded the update from 3.75 to 3.76 for REAPER. 3.75 had been working fine like this for a while, and all of a sudden it's doing this, and so is 3.76.

I don't know what to do but this is my primary plugin when recording, I have bands coming in soon too! Need this fixed ASAP!

Thanks guys!

Trevor

P.S. The AU version of the plugin doesn't crash it. I need to use the VST for certain things though!

The AU version of Stillwell's Event Horizon is crashing REAPER too. I use it all the time and it has never done that before. What the heck is going on?

Sometimes it helps to:
Options -> Preferences -> Plug-ins -> VST -> Clear cache/re-scan

I use Farm without any problems, also updated everything to the newest version. I have no idea on what could be causing your problem, but I'd suggest you to uninstall Farm and reinstall it again from scratch, maybe also the POD drivers.

Are you in 32 or 64 bit and have you tried the recent 32/64 bit 2.5 of pod farm?

I am running the 32 bit version under win7 pro64 within 32 bit reaper 3.76 with no issues, not even using the UX1 hardware any more.

Bugger! Just noticed this is on the OSX forum - sorry... as you were, chaps.

right click (whatever the mac equivalent of that is) the vst before you load it and try the different "run as" modes till you get things stable. at least one of those will prevent reaper from crashing if the plug goes.
