Rewire Does Not Work Across Tabs Or Instances

Just what the title says. Maybe there's a workaround?

This is with Waves Tune. It works fine when only one tab is visible, or one instance of Reaper is open. But when more than one is open, Rewire does not work in any successive tabs/instances.

I dont think it can contemplate the idea of multiple simultaneous projects, so probably tough luck

Thanks, Justin. Not a deal breaker, as I can render the tuned tracks after I'm satisfied, then tab between projects.
