Default MIDI track list changes track selection in arrange

I love the midi editors track list feature but I wish when I selected a track in the midi editor track list it also selected the track in the arrange window so I could monitor that track (using auto record arm) just by selecting the track in the track list.

It seems this only selects the midi item, not the track.

In the off chance you use Reaticulate, this feature exists as an option "Track selection follows MIDI editor target item."

Obviously, yes, I wished for this same behavior.

Any chance to get this action to work outside of reaticulate? I have 0 scripting skills so I don't know how feasible it is. This would be a great option.

EDIT: found this script from Archie, in midi editor. Not really an option to follow selection, but if you run it, your arrange view selection follows the active midi editor: "Script: Archie_MidiEditor; select track of active midi editor.lua"
