Pipewire Reaper and Youtube
Hello guys !
I'm new to Pipewire and EndeavourOS. I thought Reaper and Youtube would work by default but no. Do I need to install Jack for these things to work together ? I thought Pipewire was to avoid these steps what do I need here ?? |

There's a dedicated section for pipewire assuming it isn't all installed by default. It's written for Manjaro but I think you should be able to figure out how to change things for other Arch-based distros. You also need some way of seeing/making the connections. I think qpwgraph is the best right now.

It works now I did not realized I could have just selected Jack from the get go in Reaper. Bu for the latency I found this command that could be used :
PIPEWIRE_LATENCY=256/48000 reaper But it does not work even opening a terminal from Reaper folder. Actually I cant even start reaper by entering reaper I get command not found. |

Better is to set these values in the pipewire.conf file (again, see my guide). You can also set on the fly (but not with PIPEWIRE_LATENCY)... FYI, I've said it before in another thread but you need to run Code:
./reaper

A bit off-topic, but I just updated pipewire and qpwgraph in my unofficially modified AVLinux, and then launched qpwgraph and linux Reaper 3.56, and loaded CMFuzz and NI's Raum into Reaper, for some guitar fun*. The screenshot shows the relevant parts of the graph, I only had to connect the bottom-right pair of green cables to hear Reaper's output from my mAudio pci soundcard. No jack or pulse sightings in top output, but pipewire, yabridge, and wineserver were all on the dance floor...
* Even further off-topic, guitarheads might enjoy Tosin Abasi being interviewed by Rick Beato...got some serious practice hours to catch Tosin !!!
