4K screen UI not scaling very well
Hello!
I'm trying to use REAPER for Linux on my 4K screen laptop. I have tried scaling my UI through the preferences and reaper.ini files but the result is not the best. All toolbars, mixer text and other things don't seem to scale with the UI. Here is a link to a screenshot of the REAPER session scaled up: https://imgur.com/a/VaGCizM It does not seem to be an issue related to the theme as the same things happen on the other themes. I can run the application with a good UI scale if I use the run_scaled script (https://github.com/kaueraal/run_scaled) and launch REAPER that way, but that ruins a bunch of the text and I don't really want to have to use that anyway. Any help, suggestions or fixes with this issue would be greatly appreciated! |

I think you'll need to use themes specifically made to work with 4K. My screens are much smaller so I can't test this. But try this theme and see if it works:

Thanks a bunch for the fast reply! I didn't seem to get my email notification but that's all good I guess.
Thanks for the fix and help! These themes do work, but they aren't my favourite themes and even though I could go on the look for a good 4k theme, I just think that this should be able to do programmatically. Especially since I have been fine-tuning my current one for years to something that works well. Is it the non-4k themes that are forcing certain UI elements to be small somehow? |

I don't know if that's the case because I don't have a high dpi screen to test this with. Hopefully somebody else will be able to chime in.
