Default Custom Drop-down menus

I think this would be a great addition to Reaper! To have the ability to create custom Drop-down menus to put in toolbars. This would save a considerable amount of space and declutter the sometimes huge toolbars full of buttons you see around that users create for themselves.

It's great to have toolbar buttons but when your looking at some +-20 or more buttons on each toolbar, it can sometimes be slow to find what you're looking for.

This way you could group together related actions under one drop-down menu.

Yup, I agree that we need something to alleviate toolbar clutter

I suggested this as a potential solution a little while ago -

However, Lokasenna has created a Radial Menu script which is a great solution for reducing tool bar clutter

The version in ReaPack works great at the moment, although the new alpha version looks even better (the set up script is great)

vitalker, I use the contextual toolbars all the time, that's not what I was talking about. It just brings up a toolbar with...you guessed it, tons of buttons!

robu_23, awesome! I wasn't aware of this. Not a replacement for drop-down menus but great to have :-)
