It would be nice to be able to snap to these, and transients in general when making selections (even when not embedded).

That's cool. Could this also be enabled for wav cue markers? and snapping would be amazing if possible.

Also, a recent paths drop down ideally should also include any recent paths you've rendered out to. That would be useful

Can the project bay's media tab also have the show in media explorer button like the source tab has?

And could it pre select the area of the wav file you are using.

Also, could there be an option to automatically show selected project bay file in media explorer?

A lot of us use the project bays as file collections for use in other projects as we can save specific areas of an audio file (in media tab) so it would be amazing to be able to instantly see the selected files waveform and area selected.

Alternatively, an option to show a secondary waveform in the bottom of the project bay that's identical to media explorer one.

I recently noticed that the search function doesn't work with Russian or Ukrainian letters.

Could we see a way to 'spot' a selected part of an audio file in media explorer to the main arrange/selected track/current playhead location? Like you can do in SFX programs like Basehead etc.


So maybe an action that we can assign to a keyboard shortcut. Saves having to drag a selected area of an audio file. Just gives us more flexibility.

How about a toggle in Media explorer so if you click a file to preview it and you click it a second time it will stop playing

FR for media explorer: the "Play through selected track" option included the ability to play a sample in media explorera from both a midi keyboard and a midi clip.

And a second FR, dragging the sample to TCP displays the option to load the sample into the sampler (RS5k). Something like the options in the latest Logic.

thanks for increasing the filepath display size from 50 characters to ~100 or so, but upon using it, i find myself wishing that display went from the "parent folder" button all the way to the search field.

This is is regression, in previous versions it went all the way to the search field.

Same thing here. It seems new.

It happens always after droping a sample into a VST (from media explorer).

Battery 3, KOntakt, Tal sampler...

After this we can't use the keyboard inside the media explorer. Sometimes Reaper freezes.

Kinda like what ovnis reported, here arrows stopped working in ME right after I dragged the first audio file into Arrange. Closing/reopening ME didn't help, but after Reaper restart I cannot reproduce anymore, it just works.

An option to have folders always at the top of media explorer (details mode) would be great if possible. Might be tricky to implement but something I use in my normal file explorer a lot.

What I mean is so if you order files by date modified. The folders are not mixed in with the files and all folders are at the top first (in date order) followed by the files next.

Can be a very useful option to have but both ways are valid and useful for different things
