Default Massive X not seen by Reaper (not a reaper problem)

Reaper loads every other plugin, but doesn't seem to recognise Massive X.

The scan path is correct because it loads all the other VSTi's in the same folder as "Massive X.dll"

I've tried:

Reinstalling Reaper

Reinstalling Native Access

Reinstalling Massive X

Using the NI Reg Tool to clean the registry for Massive X and install Massive X again

Install Massive X from the demo installer

Reaper just completely ignores it

Any help would be greatly appreciated

OS: Windows 10

Update:

I tried installing another DAW to load Massive X to figure out whether it was a Reaper problem or a Massive X problem.

And as it turns out this other DAW says the Massive X.dll is broken!

Default Fixed

Okay I found the actual solution to this.

I installed Komplete Kontrol and when I tried to launch Komplete Kontrol I got two system errors:
MFPlat.dll was not found and MFReadWrite.dll not found.

I solved those errors by installing the Media Feature Pack from microsofts website.

Doing a clear cache + re-scan of VSTs now makes it show up in Reaper - I'm guessing Massive X required the Media Feature Pack to function at all.
