Docker - Option to collapse Dock window and show the tabs only

On the docker we have this menu with the option to hide dock.

Having a button(next to the menu or as an option in the menu) to collapse/shrink the window only and leave the tabs would be great.

Mostly useful for clearing the space but also choosing faster the tab we want to open without using any shortcuts to hide/show the docker.
