Default Minor UI issue in Windows 8.1

Hi,

I love LICECap and it worked perfectly in Windows 8. The core functionality still works perfectly in 8.1, but the close button is missing in the top-right corner: -

Just a minor thing, but I thought I'd let you know so hopefully it can be fixed in the next version.

Thanks!

Does 8.1 allow you to set licecap.exe via properties to 8.0 or 7.x compatibility mode? That might fix it for now.

Thanks for the suggestion! 8.1 does allow that, but I've tried running it in 8.0 and 7.x compatibility modes and it's still the same. The compatibility troubleshooter automatically selects the Windows 8 compatibility mode and at the end of the process it says "Incompatible program: Fixed", but it doesn't fix this issue.

If I right-click on where the close button should be and hold the button down, the X appears then, and if I move the mouse pointer away from it while still holding the left mouse button down, the X will stay visible while I'm using the program, but it has a white box around it that wasn't there when I was using the same version with Windows 8: -

MS must have made a small change that breaks it. Still, at least it's fully functional with 8.1 outside of that very minor issue!

Well dammit Jim! I thought for sure that would work.
