1. Set "Prevent mouse edits of single CC events from moving past other events" in Preferences>Midi Editor
2. Go to mouse modifiers Context: MIDI CC events left click/drag and set Ctrl to Copy CC events
3. Apply changes
4. Create new midi item, open it in MIDI editor, set CC lane to 01 Mod Wheel and create new point (point A)
5. Hold Ctrl, left click on created point and drag it to the right.
6. New (copied) point (point B) is blocked by original one (point A).
expected:
Original point (Point A) ignored until point copying (by ctrl+drag) finished.
Here's how it works for track envelopes (when "Prevent mouse edits of single points from moving past other envelope points" enabled) and how it should work for CC events too (I believe):
You can see that original point copied and then ignored, new point blocked only by other point. This is how "Prevent mouse edits of single points from moving past other envelope points" option works for track envelopes and how "Prevent mouse edits of single CC events from moving past other events" should work for CC events.
Phew...
