complete horizontal or vertical view

Currently in Reaper there are things you can see only in a horizontal view: items and automation, and others you can see only in a vertical (ie mixer) view: fx and sends. One result is that frequently both are open at once: there is considerable mental power wasted finding your place when you look from one to the other - alternatively there is a lot of window switching...

It would be great if either or both of these were adopted:

1) a complete vertical view where clips and automation scroll vertically above mixer strips - ala renoise or other trackers...

or

2) a representation of fx and sends in the TCP-MCP somehow ala Tracktion

perhaps there are other greater ideas out there but I have to say the current setup is not very ergonomic!

that's what I really liked about tracktion - the "everything in a single window" approach.
