Default ChordGun behavior

When clicking on the chord buttons with the mouse, the current behavior is to insert into the midi editor if the midi editor is open or insert into a media item if you're recording. If the midi editor is closed and you're not recording then the chord will just be previewed.

Instead should it be shift-click to insert and regular click to preview?

I prefer consistent behavior regardless of situation. And double-click is more intuitive than shift-click. Dragging to position to add would be nice, but I imagine probably impossible.

Even a button to toggle the behavior between preview and add would be nicer. Shift-click isn't something many will discover on their own.

All good options, as long as there's some way to do preview/insert I'm happy.

Yeah maintaining consistency becomes a little more difficult when adding shift-click, for example I think it will have to be added to chord inversion left/right arrows as well. And maybe to the octave left/right arrows for when notes are selected, expected behavior would get a little weird there
