Default REAPER LInux feature request: create new directory in file dialog

Hi,
in the file dialog in reaper there's no option to create a new directory.

For example if I am in a folder if I want to create a subfolder I need to go to the file explorer, create the directory and then refresh it in reaper.

Please add the option to create a directory when I save a file/select render folder

Yes, please. It's moderately annoying that I have to have a terminal ready just to create a new directory for each project I create. Or if I'm adding a renders director or something like that.

I would like to see directory creation added to the file browser and also thumbnail view when browsing in REAPER for track icons.

It actually supports it now! Just type the name of the directory you'd like to create, followed by a slash, and hit enter. So for example "directory/" and it will ask you if you wish to create it (or if it already exists, it will navigate there).

Cool! Is there any way to see thumbnails when browsing for track icons, or is that a big deal because of different distros using different components?

I would be happy if I could even put a button on REAPER's file browser that opened my OS filebrowser at the same location, since it can display the thumbnail images.

Bought a Reaper licence because of Linux compatibility. A more user friendly file dialog option would be awesome. Thanks for all the Linux work so far!

That part is opensource so anyone could improve it!

Not an excuse, just a headsup!

Yeah, it would be great to be able to navigate in the file dialog with the keyboard, not only the mouse.
That would be a great improvement.

Everything else is working great!
