CSI Feature Request: Scenes

Starting a new thread, not cluttering the already huge main CSI thread with additional thoughts that might - or might not - be worth considering.

I intensively use SMS "LiveConfigs" to switch "Scenes" (usually to be called "Patches" in a Live playing environment) using my "X-Touch" Control surface: 32 of the buttons - plus two "Shift" buttons are use to select 64 patches for the two keyboards, while some 17 continuous controls (rotaries and sliders) are used to tweak any of the patches in realtime. The parameter modifications are saved with any scene and re-loaded whenever this scene is re-selected. (See the "Live" subforum for more information.)

I feel that this is not that different from what CSI is intended for.

This triggers the idea that it might make sense for CSI to allow for buttons (or whatever controls) to select "scenes" (i.e. "total recall" collections of a count of parameters).
