Default Recent projects organization

When browsing through my recent projects, it's a lot on the eyes. The list of recent projects starts with the path, ending with the project name. Almost always, my paths are 70-80% of the line item, with the project name being the short ending on that long path. It's hard to read because the project name has no alignment consistency. I want to open the project based on the name of the project, not necessarily the path.

Two possible solutions:

Make the recent projects list a two-column list, with the path in one column, and the project name aligned in the other (maybe even the project name in the first column?)

Or, implement a search field in the recent project list to type in the partial name of the project or path to reduce the number of items in said list. This should end up functioning the same way as the plugin search box.

I always find myself staring at the list of recent projects trying to find where the one I want is in the list.
