Default Feedback appreciated on this melody and vibe

Been a while since I've had the time ....
Put this together earlier. Just a couple of minutes long, an idea.
What do you reckon to the melody and feel, the direction?
Feedback appreciated.

I think it's a very strong start actually. Only complaint is that the beat is not interesting and the kick has no punch. The tone of the synths though is great and I dig the melodies. Overall very 80s without being too cheesy. Reminds me of some of the tracks on the Drive soundtrack with a touch of Dr Who.

I'd actually be down to do some drum work on that for you if you like. You can get an idea of what that would be like here

Cheers fox.

To be honest no thought was given to the drum track here, it's just a pattern saved to one of my project templates.

You're welcome to do some drum work for it. That would be great.

Cool well if you wanna bounce the audio (minus the drums) and upload an .rpp file to dropbox or somewhere, I'll give 'er a whirl when I get a chance. You want me to mess with the arrangement any? Did you mostly use hardware synths or plugins?

This is very Knight Rider, Airwolf, and Miami Vice. Lots of fun! I don't really have any criticisms as whenever something 80s like this plays, I'm 5 years old again. :P

Thank you very much, fox.

I have sent you a link to the rpp, minus the drums.
All done with vst plugins.

Do with it what you will. Be really interesting to hear what you do.
Thanks again.

I loved that early electronic theme tune era. Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, then Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop.
