Hello fellow users!

I just finished an album that relied heavily on REAPER.

Maybe it's up your alley, maybe not but I do have a question if anyone can relate to this . . .

Somebody asks oh, you do music, what instrument do you play? And you could say this or that thing but what you want to say is, there's this software . . .

Anyway thanks for listening if you choose to, and have a good day.

What an odd mashup of music and genres. Acoustic pop, then programmed beat frenzy, then hip-hop pop, then pure experimental noise? This is a real musical experiment. Interesting.

I can relate to your question, since even though I mainly play guitar, I consider my true "instrument" to be "the computer". I can't even call my recording studio a "studio" anymore. It's my computer with software, a MIDI keyboard, and some guitars. I think that's how most of us "recording artists" are now anyway. Just geeks with a computer and a little bit of musicality.

Dimaension X, I am glad you appreciate the scattershotism. Thanks for your answer too. I agree.

Thank you for the heads up, msundh. It should be back online now.

Sure is a mix of everything. Most of it is not what I normally listen to, but I did enjoy most of it.

Thanks, thrilled that you enjoyed some of it. I have found that it is rewarding to play with extremes in terms of figuring out what kind of music to do next.
