Greetings Lucas_LCS;
This theme is great! There is one thing, though... Many of the silver toolbar icons don't have enough contrast. If they could all have high contrast, like the crossfade (silver/black) that would be great!
Thanks for this!

When I select "customize toolbar", select a command and then click the icon button and select "change icon", the "select toolbar icon" window comes up.
Most of those icons are hard to read/see the graphics. In the middle of the top row there are several great high contrast icons:
from toolbar_group_off, to toolbar_xfade_off (except toolbar_quant_off) are all high contrast silver/black. Also, in the second from the bottom row, the v3 icons are high contrast silver/white (I prefer silver/black, though).
For my elderly eyes, silver, black, and saturated colors are best. All of the "misc" icons (toolbar_misc_mouse, etc.) are hard for me to see. The different shades of silver, and unsaturated colors (they look washed out to my eyes) are pretty unreadable.
This is still a fabulous theme! You contribute so much to the Reaper community, thank you!
If the icons had more contrast, that would be awesome. I would be happy with the stock WT Imperial icons, if that's easier/better for you.
Either way, thank you!

Yeah, they look pretty bad.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it before.
See the update below.
If you prefer to use the buttons from White Tie's Imperial theme, do the following:
- move both themes to a nother folder or backup folder
- unpack/unzip both themes
- copy all the files that start with " Toolbar" from the Imperial image folder to the BlueCore image folder
- also copy the " composite_toolbar_overlay.png" file if there is one.
- let it overwrite the current toolbar files in the BlueCore theme
- move or copy the updated image folder and the corresponding unpacked theme file to the Reaper COLORTHEME folder.
you can use the theme without repacking or re-zipping the theme.

Wow! the new icons look great. I love the embossed, 3D look!
So... it turns out I've been posting in the wrong thread. I'm grooving on the BlueSesshin theme. I freaked out when I realized that I had commented in the BlueCore thread. Then I didn't feel so bad when I saw that you edited the icons for both themes.
I hope I'm not asking too much, but although these icons are totally readable and look awesome, there is not much contrast between the active and inactive states.
Could the text or graphics (foreground) elements get a lot brighter when the button is active?
Thanks again, and again and again! You do superb work!

yes, both themes use the same TCP, Toolbar, etc.
Only the mixer layouts are different.

Yes! that's fine.
The new icons look so good...
I just need to be able to glance at the toolbar to see the status of things like snap enabled and ripple editing, and I use some random "misc" icons as indicators of certain conditions.
I really appreciate you doing this. I am *really* enjoying this theme.
Thanks!

You're welcome, but note that this will take a lot more time than the recent previous version.
I have to adjust the 'Off' state for most of the buttons.
I'm only through the first 2 rows in the Icon selector.

Unfortunately, not at this time, but thank you for the thought.
I'm on row 7 now, but I will have to skip a few days.
Hoping to be finished sometime next week.

I've just downloaded this theme. Congratulations! It's a wonderful one. I'd like to know how to change the color of the selected font in the tcp. Red is a bit difficult to read here. I'm in the rt config file in the subfolder theme but not sure at all 😂🤣.

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but to find the Track Label font commands do this:
- Open the RTconfig file located in the image folder.
- Find the TCP section
- Find the first instance of this near the bottom of TCP section:
;;======= LCS CODE ============= ::
- Then locate all of the following instances of this line after that:
set tcp.label.color [15 15 15]
- Change it to something like:
set tcp.label.color [185 185 185]
If you want to change coor when the track is selected, I unable to help you with that since I'm not familiar with that command.

I think he/you mean the "Record Enabled" font color. In the TCP, the name of the track turns red when the track is record enabled. The red text is difficult to read. I thought there was a place in the "theme tweak/configuration window" to change the track's record enabled font color, but I didn't find it.
There *is* a setting for the track selected text!
In the actions window, do a search for theme tweak/configuration window, and in that window, do a search for track. The second line is "Track panel (selected) text". You can change the "track selected" font color there.
I guess changing the "Record Enabled" font color requires digging into the theme itself...

Big thanks for the infos.
PMan is right. That's exactly what I'm trying to do. The red color is difficult to read to me. I'll try it tomorrow.

@Lyesse;
Just to clarify, I did *not* find a way to change the "record Armed" font color.
I found the "Track Selected" font color. "record Armed" font color is still red...

If that's the case, it's actually pretty easy.
Find the Track Label font commands:
- Open the RTconfig file located in the image folder.
- Find the TCP section
- Find the first instance of this near the bottom of TCP section:
;;======= LCS CODE ============= ::
- Under that section, locate all of the following instances of the line that looks similar to this example:
set tcp.label.color ?recarm [160 46 46] [15 15 15]
two options:
1) change the number set just after the ?recarm statement to make it a different color.
2) delete the ?recarm and [160 46 46] entries leaving just the [15 15 15] entry.
This will set it to stay the same color whether it's armed or not armed.

Thanks Lucas!
Clear, accurate instructions - worked perfectly
For those who may not know how to get to the RTconfig.ini file, you have to unpack the theme. White Tie has provided clear instructions in this thread: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=172341
Thanks again - what a great community!
