Default HOW to find which plugin causes not to open project

I've got a few projects, that fail to load (they crash REAPER) .
The only way to open these projects is to load them fx offline / recovery mode .

How can I find the name of the plugin, that causes this crashing .

Thank You,

BOne .

Pretty obvious once you have actually done it the first time.
Add the plugins one at a time & re-save/re-open until it crashes.

Sure, this is the long way around ;
I’ve tried it, but as I’m using lots (I mean, LOTS) of plugins it’s very slow and VERY frustrating .

Could this issue be solved by looking some log-files ? If so where do I find them (WIN / OS X) ?

If Reaper crashes on startup, there is most likely a crash log generated by the OS. This log often (but not always) has the name of the crashing plugin. See here for tips:

You can also bisect. Once you loaded project in recovery mode, go to project bay->fx tab then select half of the plugins and uncheck "offline" (right click, "status" column). Crash? Then repeat process for that half. Otherwise check second half. And so on.
