Default Addicted To Love (Cover)

I did an instrumental cover of Addicted To Love by Robert Palmer.

https://soundcloud.com/michaelgallar...-to-love-cover

Any opinions welcome. Personally I think it's a bit muddy.

Haven't heard this song in ages and this ain't bad. I think it could have had a handful more drum fills in a few strategic places. Though I do like the ones already there.

I agree with Sammy regarding more drum fills. I believe it would add a little more interest and possibly bring (more)excitement in the longer verse sections. Muddy ? Well, yeah. Some EQ might not hurt. Then again it might. I enjoyed it as is, with the kinda muddy, industrial(?) feel. Whatever you decide to try with this tune further I'd like to hear but this current version is really pretty cool. Well done !!!

If your leaving it as an instrumental then I'd prefer more of spot light on the lead guitar in few places.

It's a pretty dense mix with all that fuzz (?) bass, good sound over all though.

Nice one.

Thanks for listening. Going for kind of a thick n syrupy rock sound played by a lounge rock band who are past their prime.

Thanks man. The bass guitar is actually pretty clean I think what your hearing is the center rhythm guitar and bass together which make it sound like the bass is fuzzy.

I did do a little polishing to the song. Not sure if i like it any better but time to move on to the next.

If you have ever heard Donnie Wynn live, you`ll know he does NOT fool around on the drums. I would love to hear more pedal on the kick and a lot more aggressive but fat snare.

But your version DID bring back some happy memories. Well done!
