I haven't installed 4 beta yet. Has some of this already been added?

+1 to CC envelopes! Perhaps have a transparent envelope display on top of the CC values (keeping CC value GUI the same as v4.01?)

A few CC-related FRs I have:

FR: MIDI Editor: Group Notes, CCs, Prg.Changes, Etc

FR: Stretch CCs/PCs/ENVs when stretching MIDI Notes

http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=3320

FR: MIDI Editor: Vel/CC Lanes: Custom, snappable Grid divisions

Really? There aren't cc envelopes in reaper...that's disappointing. I hadn't gotten to the point where I could test those yet, but that is one of my favorite features of fl studio. +1 for getting that.

Default I love automation editing in Reason!

I love the way automation is displayed and edited in Propellerhead Reason, e.g.

Isn't it possible to have CC envelopes by using reacontrol midi plugin? I thought I saw that.

Yes, but not inside MIDI editor. That's the catch.

Oh, right.

In that case, for now, my vote is not for this, and it is instead for the option of item based envelopes, where envelopes are within the items, and therefore move around with them, just like midi CC, and then you could use reacontrol midi to get that to work for your midi CC also. ideally you could flick a switch and have envelope CC, I get how that is better, but programming-wise, bang for your buck, making a within item set of envelopes, would be much more awesome.

Oh, and have those linked to pool data as well. so if you change the envelope on one pooled item, it changes it on all pooled items.

I think this, and FX chain on sends, and fixes for the bugs I've come across, are my biggest wishes for reaper 5.
