@schwa, some loops don't get recognized (bpm), for whatever reason. The naming scheme seems to be the same, though. I'll forward you another bunch for testing purposes.

# MIDI editor: fix hit testing for mouse modifiers to erase or reset note velocitye

Notes that are smack bang at the item start aren't recognized, neither erased or reset.

Just noticed that they won't save/load correctly with the project, but that's fixed for the next build.

sounds great but I can't find the way to activate it properly in order to reset velocity with a single click.

BTW an option to get rid of the drop down menu that comes after a single right click in the velocity lane and in the piano roll will be nice. i've never used this drop down menu in the last 10 years.
using right single click with other actions will be much more useful for me.

another option wish is that the edit cursor will not move after a single left click in the velocity lane

Seems to work as expected here with the "(reset velocity to default)" mouse modifier. With the "(set new default velocity)" mouse modifier there will be no apparent effect, as the new default velocity will be set to the clicked velocity.

Maybe it is just me, but I don't understand where is the dedicated velocity modifier context yet.

anyway I tried all the 3 to reset to default velocity with a click and didn't work, not with right and not with left (+alt)

If you want to delete/reset velocity events immediately on clicking them, you'll have to use the MIDI CC event context. That context is for click/drag actions that start on an event; the CC lane context is for actions that start away from events.

you can see in the gif that I also set alt+left click to reset to default, but it doesn't work for a click as you can see in the gif.
