Default Folder for Reaper presets (DONE)

A little housekeeping

The Reaper preset .ini files are in C:\Documents and Settings\<<account name>>\Application Data\REAPER here, so the folder is getting a bit cluttered.

Can they be moved into a "Presets" or "ReaperPresets" folder, i.e. a new folder alongside "FXChains", "MenuSets", "TrackTemplates" etc?

...and a wham-bam-ba-boo (hoo- alot of the folders need addressing me reckons, I got all sorts of stuff floating around eveywhere. 1 project should auto contain all the seperate folders needed plus a mother file, elsehwere, for all stuff which staddles all common tasks, or when needed...or something to this effect)

PLUS ONE [+1!]

I'll vote for this

One thing i've always wanted is to have a set of presets solely for that project which are instantly accessible on loading that project and stored with the project, not tried this in reaper yet. Is it possible?

Nope, it's not possible currently.

But I'd gladly have all preset files stored in a separate folder, in AppData.

+1 The ability to organize things in Reaper (beyond its current capability) would make working with this program so much easier.

Also for 3rrd party VSTs the presets should be saved in a folder structure same as VST folders.

I think the topic can be considered as [SOLVED] since we have the "preset" folder already there for some time (not sure since which REaper version).

So, presets are already stored in "preset" subfolder and not in the main root folder next to Reaper.exe and other configuration .ini files.
