Default Guitar Speaker Cable through a Patchy?

Hello...,

I have a Patchbay. This one:
https://www.thomann.de/de/neutrik_ny...EaAtYAEALw_wcB

do you think its ok, to use it for a guitar speaker cable too? or is that signal too hot for a patchbay?

Cheers

I can't see it being a problem, unless the connectors in the patch bay have unusually high impedance.

Why would you want to though?

How many watts are you planning on sending through the thing?

well, now that you ask me, i notice, that i have a mistake...my speaker cables are just two long jack cables from the control room into the studio....

the two jack sockets wich i want to remove and to implement into the patchbay are just normal instrument line cables...no problem at all

Sorry. My fault, but thanks for answering though!!!

It is a recipe for disaster. It makes it easy to patch a guitar amp speaker output into a line level input, thereby releasing all the magic smoke which formerly allowed the line level device to work.
