Default A/B-ing Plugins

Is there a command that would allow me to mute and activate a plugin (in the same change) at the same time?

For example

Saturator 1 = Active
Saturator 2 = Bypass

Hit a command so that its

Saturator 1 = Bypass
Saturator 2 = Active

Hopefully, this makes sense.

I use the free HOFA 4U+ BlindTest comparing plugin. No glitches, blind comparison, minimal user action needed to objectively compare/decide.

objectively compare your equipment (e.g. plugins) in your DAW
shuffle mode that anonymises the tracks
loudness compensation
rating system and comment field
compare up to 3 tracks
can be upgraded to the full version

I highlight the two plugins in the fx chain and toggle bypass with CTRL+B. Look away and toggle several times to lose track of which plugin is active.

I use snapshots on a toolbar for on the fly fx comparisons:

You could also use Parameter Modulation/Link to link one bypass to the other in an inverse relationship. Then switch bypass on the "master" using whatever method is most expedient.
