Default Audio Stretch Markers

Hi All!

I've just recorded an 8 bar guitar chord sequence and now want to get it in time.

I was watching one of those Kenny Gioa Reaper Mania Videos (the one titled Stretch Marker - Transient Guides) and he manually adds markers. Isn't there a way to automatically get Reaper to detect the transients.

I'm finding it really hard to do this. Half an hour and still not done it. Seems really difficult. In Reason it's really easy. Double click the audio and voila, every transient is detected and a transient marker is added to the audio piece on every transient and you just adjust the ones that aren't in time. It would take me 5 minutes, if that.

Thanks!

Try "Dynamic split items". This action is misleadingly named, since it is not only used to split items, but also to insert stretch markers.
