Default Appears to be solved: Bluetooth question

Recently I added Bluetooth to my desktop computer with reaper sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Can anyone assist me with this.

Thank you

Supposedly the problem description is too sparse to allow for a decent answer.

Anyway: Reaper does not know anything about BlueTooth. Hence any problem can't be attributed to or solved by Reaper.

If the BlueToth device provides an OS driver in "standard" (bluetooth-independent) technology, Reaper can use it as any other device. Otherwise, Reaper will not even see it.

Just to add on, I fired up some bluetooth headphones just to check a mix on and through Reaper they sound nasty. Fire up iTunes and they sound fine. I use these wireless cans with this computer all the time at work.

For whatever reason, Reaper doesn't like Bluetooth.

I was starting to think of that reaper and blue tooth don't work well together.

The Bluetooth and wifi dongles don't work together either, the wifi completely fails when I plug in the Bluetooth dongle.

After a little research found a new driver for my csr8510 A10 Bluetooth dongle. Now it works and no conflict with the wifi dongle.

I checked what the update screen said my system is up to date, but my software to check driver status said 12 drivers are out dated

As I always have said Microsoft so called updates do nothing but plant spy wear in your computer.

MS dont claim to update anything but their stuff, not any other random stuff you have connected, like sound cards, etc.

Its frustrating, but you cant really blame them for this. FWIW I spend about an hour every week checking to see what there is in the way of updates for anything non-standard that I have in my hardware. Oh and I currently use a bluetooth keyboard as well as a USB one, plus a bluetooth speaker & a bluetooth drawing tablet. all work fine with reaper, once I got the software side done & then got them to talk to each other. Oh and of course my android phone is in the club, too.
