Default Search media explorer shortcut?

I find myself clicking to the search box too often when browsing through samples in the media explorer. Is there a way I can set up a keyboard shortcut for searching, such as crtl-L in most browsers.

Is there a way to make it specific to the "media explorer" actions rather than the "main actions"?
