Exactly. The current double click behaviour on docker separators should be moved to Modifier+DoubleClick.

I like the current double-click on docker separator behavior.
Anton, what exactly did you have in mind with that proposal, how would that behave? I'm not sure I'm envisioning it correctly.

Hiding and un-hiding dockers on double click.

Notice in this LICEcap that when you double click on the TCP separator it gets compacted. I want to be able to do this with docked dockers so as to regain some arranger working space.
I know we have an action for show/hide dockers, but the action acts on all dockers, so I guess if the devs did'nt want to program this into the separators right now, in the mean time they could at least give us actions for show/hide of individule dockers.

Aha. I see.
Hm. Valid point there. But I like being able to reorientate the dockers with double-click. It's really fast. However this indeed is useful as well.
Hm...

Not quite sure what you mean by reorientate.., we already have options for attach to top, bottom, left, right in the context menu. If you mean swapping positions of two dockers that are for example side by side.., perhaps a modifier could be assigned or even better maybe just double right click for reorientation and double left click for compact/expand?

This is how Adobe does it. Double-click on a tab and the whole (specific) docker gets compacted/expanded.

Bug on Pre8 (and Pre6):
If "Adjust media item volume by dragging:" is set to "Item volume knob" in Preferences > Appearance > Media, the knobs on the first track do not react to mouse dragging. They do work if I move the first track to be the second one, but then again the knobs on the now first track do not work.
Works fine on Reaper 4.31.
Using Reaper 4.32pre8 (32-bit) on Macbook Pro 2010 running OSX 10.8.2.

Confirmed(32 and 64 bit osx). Not only the volume knob, also the edit cursor doesnt move on some instances. Its only on the first track.

And it really shouldn't occupy double click imho; compact/expand seems a much better use for it.

Yes please! List View needs lots of love! <3 <3 <3
Direct data entry into cells and cursor navigation between cells using arrow keys, please. MS Excel-style. Not "2000 Windows" style. Even some ancient 'tracker' programs run circles around REAPER for editing speed in list mode. :-/
But while we are briefly discussing dividers, may I interject one tiny non-MIDI nitpick as well? Since I believe Justin recently fixed a little rounding error in Swell, I thought this had been fixed, but I'm still seeing this off-by-one-pixel bug on OS X when dragging the MCP divider:

My friend on osx mentioned the above item volume fader bug and this one today and said that the default theme worked ok if you need a quick fix plus that also indicates the problem maybe Walter related.

Thanks mbn
Im using the default theme and the knob still doesnt work on the first track. Also the fade area at the top doesnt work either, nor does the movement of the edit cursor. Its the area where the item label is and all the other item buttons.
I use the labels above item bg option and tried the on the item option, still this area is dead.

Possibly related: when you have tracks in MCP, and resize up to view FX slots and sends a 'failed resize' (as above) may have resized a track fader.
So when you do successfully resize the MCP the track where the failed resize happened has a full height fader, and no sends or slots visible.
It's been bugging me since at least 4.26 (win 7 reaper 32 bit)

Still with the chopped-off pan readout text in 4.32pre8b... also notice the meter readout's first decimal place is being chopped off as well
