Come on Cockos devs..... The newest stable Reaper release is ancient and still no new pre-release?!? V4.30 has already been gathering dust for 3 DAYS!!! What's up with this??
Ha ha, kidding...... I am spoiled so rotten by you guys. Thanks for the amazing development rate you guys work at!

Agreed, I'm somehow afraid that this MIDI oriented "next stop" could easily vary from a standard cycle to an utter can of worm style loop, kudos to the devs for getting into it, to boldly go where no DAW has gone before...
EDIT: this last prerelease cycle took more than two months, if this is not the record I wonder what it is.
I did not want to start a big Cockos flame, I was totally joking about the next prelease taking so long. Or am I just misunderstanding these last posts....?

I am right now scripting a "Main app: Undust Reaper" function. I still need to tweak the Surface Scrub Amount value just right, but things are starting to clear up already.
richie... I see you are in MN... well cockos area had one of the smaller great lakes dumped on them... then surrounding places caught fire and burned to the ground... still too many without power nor heat nor gas, nor TV!
you know how ugly it can get when people can't get gas and TV, eh?
never mind food
This is a fact. "Bura" is a wind that can be much stronger than Sandy ever was. And nobody really cares when it happens on our coast. Why? Because on our coast, people build houses out of STONE, not hardened paper!
The pictures of some of the houses did make me wonder about building standards. Whether bricks or stone would have stood up to that though..?
To be fair (geek mode on) it was a combination of things that made it as strong as it was, diverted it there, forced it onto land while it was as strong as it was, and it created a storm surge that was combined with a high tide made stronger by a full moon.
All this was pretty freak, and then it was lumped on a lot of people who really aren't used to anything in it's ball park.
That video of the trees coming down shocked me. So quick and so powerful, I bet they crapped themselves!

Then again, if you have an early warning system and a good truck, you can also get the **** out of the **** with your house made of fluff.
