Video editing in timeline
Reaper 6.14 x64. Windows 7 64
I have been through this before, but I can't find my posting history. I was using Reaper to actually see and edit video, along with its video and other audio that I inserted. It worked OK and I have actually done it in a later version of Reaper and it worked even better. But now all I can achieve is to view an extremely jerky video in the Video window. Inserting video file seems to give the audio for that video, on a track(s), bit no video video track Reaper madness shows that he drops in a video with no audio. He then has a video track and can show it as a en editable track, putting in fades etc. But....he still says to use the Video Window to do the viewing. I was much happier just using the Track view: it was smoother for me. Do I have to strip the audio from a video track, them insert bot separately? Thanks for any help.

No. When you insert a video track, if that video track also contains audio, then Reaper can access the audio and video at the same time. |
