Default Group Individual Videos?

One of the many powerful features in the audio editor is the ability to have folders that act like a bus, and have the FX in a folder apply to the contents of the folder. It seems Video doesn't work the same way? But it would be a powerful addition.

I make cellphone choir videos, where I make groups of videos that animate together. For instance in Ose Ayo, attached, I have a dozen or so cellphone videos that scroll across from off screen. I can do that because the tool I'm currently using, Camtasia, allows for this kind of grouping, and then treating the group with one or more animations.

Can you think of a way to achieve this in Reaper?

I also work with cellphone choir projects and yes you can make videos groups in Reaper but normally not with the stock presets and functionalities. I made my own presets for doing just that but they are context specific so I didn't publish them here yet. Here is an example of what I did (you need a google account to see the example)

Another strategy is to pre-make video bands to group choristers (a video band may be 6000px X 200px) and make them video items in the final project. They become new objects that you can move around, crop or zoom like I did in this example:

Not the full answer, but I feel like my version of the Grid of Videos preset could be helpful for at least some of this.

It's a bit older, but I think it works. LMK if you have troubles or questions.
