Screensets + docked MIDI editor (it's take name relative)
I searched but couldn't find anything on the forums about this specific screenset weirdness.
When saving a screenset with a docked midi editor, the screenset seems to be relative to whichever midi item's "take name" happens to be open.
- Open a docked midi editor for midi item with take name "ITEM#1". Save a screenset, call it "SS#1".
- Open a docked midi editor for midi item with take name "ITEM#2". Save a screenset, call it "SS#2".
Behaviour 1: when switching from SS#1 and SS#2: swaps from ITEM#1 to ITEM#2, ie. project-relative screensets.
Behaviour 2: when loading SS#1 if there's no item named ITEM#1, or loading SS#2 if there's no ITEM#2 the result seems to be inconsistent.. sometimes it opens the docked midi editor, sometimes doesn't, not sure why or what the pattern is.
Reasons this is bad: my understanding is that screensets, unlike track views, are supposed to work regardless of the project. And it makes it hard for people who leave docked midi editor open all the time to make screensets that work.
I'm not sure if this is a nitpick of a bug. Behaviour 2 is inconsistent enough on my end that it might qualify for the latter.
