Default Object oriented real time FX ala Samplitude? (DONE)

First of all, thanks to Justin for all the work so far on Reaper. Since Reaper is now authoring Red Book CD's it would be helpful to be able to apply fx to individual objects in a track for mastering purposes. It looks as though Reaper is almost there as it is. I hope I have expressed this clearly. Also, being new here, sorry if the feature already exists and I'm just missing it. Thanks!

DONE (2.100)

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the forum. Object oriented FX don't exist yet, but this feature has been requested, a lot. The forum search function is great help if you want to find what topics have already been discussed.

Cheers,

Malcolm.

Just use one (REAPER) track per (audio CD) track.

And welcome to the forums.

This would be a sweet feature, also look at CD Architect...

Either copy the "FX" and On/Off button to every object, or make it available through right click menu.

Buttons on every object might add clutter, so make it an option.

Oh, does Samplitude also offer automation within those object-spacific plugins?

This would be a neat additional feature, make it an additional envelope that shows up in the envelope popup. So it would read "Object X : Plugin Y" then all the parameters.

Granted, this would add ALOT of envelopes to that list if the user is not careful (or doesn't care)... for CD mastering though it would be great!!!

Reminds me of the feature request for those huge lists to have group-folding.

Actually, I like how in Vegas you can choose which parameters on which plugins have automation within the plugin gui section itself. That would, of course, be more work, but is another solution to cut down how huge the envelope popup gets!

Sorry for going off on a tangent there!
