Crackling

I am suddenly getting constant crackling on all my Reaper projects. I've checked the performance meter and it's showing ok usage. I don't get crackling on Youtube which I have had in the past after a windows update (which has recently been done). I've checked for the latest soundcard driver and it says I have the latest installed. So I'm a bit stuck, any ideas would be welcome. Thanks

Differing/different sample rates.
Different driver (are you using an interface? What driver is loaded in reaper under preferences>device?)

Thanks for the replies. I saw on one of the posts you indicated that someone said that it could be that windows sample rate can end up different to Reaper's after an update. Could you give me the path to the windows sample rate setting please I can't seem to find it. I haven't upgraded to Windows 11 just the usual type of updates they force on us. Thanks
