Pre and Post fader send color differentiation
Hello there
I have notice that there is no way to tell if a send is Pre or Post fader by simply looking at the mixer window. You need to either click the Routing button to see all the sends of a channel and what the state of the same, or click directly in the send tab and see the state of it.
It would be really helpful if the sends change of color, the same way the do when they are mutted (Red Letters). Cubase has this feature where the send tab changes from Blue to Yellow-Orange depending the state of that send.
Would it be possible to add this to our almighty Reaper?
Thanks a lot inb advance

It could be indicated better, but personally would rather see routing be more expanded than more entrenched in the current limitations. How about send from any point in the signal chain to any other? (we already have requests for this)

At the moment, you can do this with a bit of track channel jiggery-pokery
(that may be just a British phrase)

while we're at it: how about being able to adjust the send levels by dragging the bar rather than the tiny circle at the side of it ?
this would mean a cleaner MCP as you could get rid of the circle completely as it serves no use in this case.
Exactly like Cubase has always done it.
It's a clean way of seeing sends/levels.

Well, is something completely different from my request. But well, if its something you think you can use, go for a request for it. Personally never had this need, at least in mixing.

Any news here? how do I know Cockos is reading the requests? this is something super useful, simple and that should be part already of this amating software.

This is exactly the same request that I was going to do!
And I noticed that Studio One also has the same feature of Cubase.
I would be very usefull to have it in Reaper.

Using additional colors everywhere would help a lot. People much faster distinguish things when they have different colors, with text you firstly have to read what it is.

Not sure they'd even do this. The devs didn't think much if anything of the idea to colour the sends in any way so far.
