Default Stop playback and recording at the end of time selection

Hi there, I'm looking for an option to stop recording and playback automatically at the end of time selection. I've found this video

https://youtu.be/Km90x_Ic7mQ

but it seems that they took away action 'wait until the end of time selection' from SWS package as I can't find it anywhere. Do you have any other workaround for this?

Hi ihavelostmykeys!

Working fine here. The SWS action from video is

SWS: Wait until end of loop (if playing)

I'm using Version 2.12.1.3

There's also this that I use all the time.

Transport: Stop (save all recorded media)

The command ID is:

Any reason why I might not see this action? I made sure to install the newest Reaper and SWS version. I do see many SWS actions but not this one. I checked in main tab, main alt, MIDI - can’t see it anywhere…

I’m using this one. It doesn’t stop playback on the time selection end, only recording.

I mean the custom action proposed at video:

Go to start of time selection
Transport: Record
SWS: Wait until end of loop (if playing)
Transport: Stop

Working fine here.

This is my setup for recording, it's almost like a transport and works perfect, whether I'm recording myself or somebody else. Regardless of which button is pushed, there are no popup windows.

Please take a look at screenshots from my previous post. I have the latest SWS installed but action

is not showing up on the list. Any idea why it might be this way? The custom action does not work without this one. I'm pulling my hair out on this one

Would you please export this particular action for me?

Are you on Mac?
That action isn't currently available on Mac (and Linux) unfortunately (but will be in next SWS version, not clear yet when it'll be released though).

edit:
If you're eager to try it you could use the auto-builds:
https://github.com/reaper-oss/sws/pu...ent-1283197789

edit:
The auto-builds are auto-deleted after a certain time, looks like they aren't available anymore, sorry.

Doesn't work this way unfortunately, needs to be implemented in the SWS code directly.
